PETROLIMEX TRAINING ON FIRE PREVENTION AND FIGHTING, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
On April 18-19, 2018, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) in collaboration with Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department (C66) Ministry of Public Security, General Department of Environment - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held an Practice Conference training on safety techniques for fire prevention and fighting and environmental protection in Quang Ninh (according to Circular No. 43/2014 / TT-BTNMT).
More than 280 trainees who are leaders of the professional departments and officials in charge of FPF safety and environmental protection of the Corporation Office, 43 member Petroleum Companies, General Company, and Petrolimex Joint Stock Company attended the training.
Overview of professional training conference
Technology for treating petroleum contaminated wastewater, thoroughly treating dissolved mineral components that cannot currently be handled by conventional methods such as flotation, flocculation, physical filtration.
Officials and employees of the Company are preparing and distributing materials for representatives participating in the training
- Why does petroleum wastewater have to be treated, and what is NGO’s solution?
Wastewater from gas depots, gas stations, etc. has high oil concentration, very slow oxidation and can exist for up to 50 years, causing great impact on human health if it is not treated promptly. Currently, there are many options in handling domestic petroleum such as flocculation, flotation method; Membrane filtration method; Method of adsorption by materials, etc. However, these methods have high treatment cost, the water after treatment is still oily.
From the above reality, the NGO Company studied and proposed the technology to adsorb oil soluble technology and CMF filtration technology.
- What are the advantages of these technologies?
CMF filtration technology is a continuous filter device, suitable for the oil wastewater treatment system with small capacity. CMF has compact structure and has the ability to replace membrane automatically. CMF is capable of separating oil, grease, colloid, and small particles, reducing TSS in water.
Soluble oil adsorption technology (Is applicable to treatment systems with large capacity). Some of the salient advantages of this technology:
- Small construction area;
- High treatment efficiency, meeting QCVN 29: 2010 / BTNMT;
- Simple operation, can be automated according to customer requirements;
- Low operating costs;
- Quick installation time;
- System warranty 01 year
